Guilherme Paulus is a Brazilian nationalist with a degree in business administration. He started working at the age of 22 as a Travel Agent in Casa Faro which was a stepping stone to his area of specialization; tourism where he left and started his own business enterprise, the CVC Brasil Operadora e Agencia DE Viagens S.A, A company he partnered with Carlos Vicente, a Brazilian politician to start up. After a short while, Carlos left the enterprise leaving Paulus to run and manage by himself.
After years of handwork, Guilherme Paulus grew the tour operator which existed as a single business entity to one of the biggest tour operators in Brazil and the American region. It has since expanded reaching over 400 malls, hypermarkets in different localities.
Guilherme Paulus has achieved multinational success having his enterprises in different countries like Mexico, the USA, and France. Setting up more self-operated premises, all over in Brazilian tourist’s hotspots. This has granted him the nickname, the most powerful man in Brazilian tourism.
Paulus has won more than 200 awards globally securing others from foreign governments for his endeavors. He was named the Entrepreneur of the Year in 2017 in the tourism wing.
Paulus determination and desire to achieve sees him take up other business entities like the Westjet, an airline on the verge of collapsing with only a single plane, he took the risk and handled the task effectively and today the airline had grown to a second runners-up in the domestic airline in Brazil before he sold it; what an entrepreneur, undertaking a calculated risk and managing it to reap its fruits successfully, indeed Paulus is the most powerful entrepreneur, not only in the tourism sector but also business wise.
Guilherme Paulus too is accredited for having started the GJP Group of Hotels, privately owned and disbursed them across different localities in Brazil to meet to every need of the tourists.
His vision and where he’s has placed himself in the global tourism map has earned him a place in the tourism wing of the Brazilian government and approved y the president of state himself, whose experience and technical know-how in the tourism sector is indeed what the Brazilian government is looking for.
